Time with my  Friends and Family

During the school term 2 musilm and islamic holidays people spend together with the older people and a bit of time with the younger kids who have been going around people cooking lots of food and design.

The celebration lasts for two to three days. The more holidays you have, the more people come over. But my parents spend two days only because they don’t want me and my brother to miss lots of school.

For Eid the same people like to stay home to cook so when the people come the food is ready for them to eat and for the little kids that come along with their parents we have to give them a gift to say eid mubarak  and to thank them for coming instead of staying back at home or staying back on the cars that is what happened for same houses like my house.

On the second day of Eid my parents take me and my siblings to other people’s houses like how they came over or that hasn’t come over to the house. It doesn’t matter if you go to the house that has come over because of them coming over and us going over it’s all the same thing for kids because if you go over two times it will be the same thing. Then the only difference is the house that has been designed and the food.

(When I was little I thought that if I went to their house two times I would get two times the money but I didn’t. It was all wrong). Every time I would get a gift from an adult I would be so happy that I would always get more than my brother but sometimes I get the same amount as him. But for kids the main reason for them to get a gift or money has also been the same reason for me when I was little but as I grew up. I have now noticed that the day for Eid is not just for me to get a treat or money. It’s about spending time with family and friends. That is what I have learnt during the years and the life.
